About Us
Established in 1989, we are an independent family run garden centre and nursery situated on the edge of the beautiful lake district in south west Cumbria.
For over 30 years, we have been providing beautifully grown plants to gardens all across the surrounding area.

New Opening Hours
.As many of you will know last year, the owner of Foxfield Garden Centre, Alan, suffered a stroke and sadly had to close the garden centre. Following a heart operation, Alan is now feeling fit and well enough to re-open.
We've initially planned for a partial re-opening for 2 days a week, opening on Fridays and Sundays with the view to build up to 5 days a week in the spring, as the weather improves.
This festive season we will have the usual plants, compost and of course seasonal Christmas trees and wreaths.
We will be open for the first time on Friday 28th November and look forward to meeting and greeting our customers, and hope that the local community will support us after what has been a very difficult year.

When established in 1989 we were a heather and conifer specialist, but as time has gone on and fashions in plants have changed we have broadened the range of plants that we stock and grow to include:
